  • Member of the Central Contracts Committee at the Ministry of Trade from 2006 to 2010.
  • Member of the blacklisting committee at the Ministry of Planning, representing the Ministry of Trade
  • Deputy Director-General of the Legal and Administrative Directorate/Iraq National Investment Commission from 2010 to 2016
  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Public Housing Authority/ Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction 2011 to 2013.

Qualifications
  • B.Sc. in Law, from School of Law/ AL-Nahrain University/Baghdad -IRAQ, 1996.
  • Master in International Trade Law from University of Leicester/Leicester-United Kingdom 2015.

  • Principles of international trade law, and their relevance to the actual practices of commercial parties.
  • Impact of GATS on trade liberalization in developing countries.
  • Development of the concept and scope of the standard of fair and equitable treatment in international investment law.
  • Concepts development of non-discrimination and full protection and its relationship with the World Trade Organization.
  • The threat posed by bilateral and regional agreements to the existence of the World Trade Organization.
  • Modern Traders Act.
  • Impact of international grants on legislation in post-conflict States.

  • Drafting amendment to the Iraqi Companies Act No. 21 of 1997, representing the Ministry of trade.
  • Drafting The Iraqi Customs Act No. 22 of 2010 represents the Ministry of Trade.
  • Electronic Signature and Transactions Act No. 78 of 2012, representing the Ministry of Trade.
  • Ministry of Trade Act No. 37 of 2011, representing the Ministry of Trade.
  • The Second Amendment Act to the Investment Act No. 50 of 2015 is represented by the National Investment Commission.
  • Participation in the drafting of various regulations, including Regulation No. 7 of 2010 (Iraqi Regulation of Selling and Lease of public owned Real Estate for Investment Purposes).
