The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq participate in AML/CFT work shop

The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Mr. Ali Mohsin Ismail Al-Alaq participated in AML/CFT work shop on Saturday 15 Apr 2017 organized by Busness and economy group in cooperation with Iraqi and Arabic banks, his Excellency emphasis during the work shop opening speech in Baghdad on '' Preparing solid base to face money laundry which is a very important matter and contributed in building right monetary sector. Pointing out that AML/CFT is highly focused subject by internationally and locally, and working on building solid bases by considering international standards controlling monetary work and form immunity  to the monetary sector and prevent money laundry.

The governor pointed out the importance of unite Local and international efforts and organizing work strategies to achieve goals that prevent these acts from happening in different economies, stressing  on the importance of building solid bases uses modern technologies and coordinating between all concerned  parties in this matter to control these diseases and prevent its spread by placing road map for this matter coordinating work between all parties.
