Today, the Central Bank of Iraq revealed the names of the fuel filling stations on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa in Baghdad, which will provide electronic payment points (pos) early next month, in cooperation with the Petroleum Products Distribution Company, as a number of fuel filling stations have been identified in the capital, Baghdad, as a first stage. It contains electronic payment points (pos) via bank cards (credit, debit, and prepaid), and this came based on the government's directives to popularize electronic payment points and reduce the use of cash.
This upcoming launch in identifying fuel filling stations will contribute to spreading the culture of electronic payment and will be the beginning of a huge project targeting the community, aiming to reduce the use of cash and save money. The stations identified in cooperation with the Oil Products Distribution Company of the Ministry of Oil are:
1-Karkh stations
♦ Yarmouk filling station near the train / Dawoodi railway
♦ Filling station, First Police / Al-Jamaa neighborhood / behind Mulla Huweish mosque
♦ Umm Al-Tabul filling station / Al-Dakhiliyah neighborhood behind Umm Al-Tabul mosque
♦ Al-Risalah/Al-Mansur filling station near the statue of Abi Jaafar Al-Mansur
2-Rusafa stations
♦ Saadoun filling station / Saadoun Street
♦ Abu Aqlam filling station / Karrada Dakhil
♦ Musa bin Naseer filling station / Karrada, Salman Faeq Street, near Al-Shorouk Building
♦ Al-Khalisa/ Al-Waziriyah filling station
♦ Al-Bataween Filling Station / Al-Tayaran Square opposite Baghdad Market
