The Central Bank of Iraq Calls on Travelers Wishing to Buy Dollars to Go to Exchange Companies

The Central Bank of Iraq calls on citizens who intend to travel to the "countries permitted to deal in the currency of the US dollar" to go to sales outlets of banks, and exchange companies authorized to buy and sell foreign currencies, for the purpose of buying the dollar at the specified official rate. The CBI referred that the sale of dollar will be conducted according to the instructions and controls of the Central Bank of Iraq. Stressing in the event that any of banks or companies refrain from selling the dollar at the official price, those numbers (07809224663), or (07853330555) should be called to file a complaint against the party that refuses to do so. It is worth to mention that the banks’ outlets of sales for the foreign currency are continuing the sell in accordance with the instructions and controls of the Central Bank of Iraq, which issued a package of measures earlier, in order to contribute in the stability foreign currency markets.Central Bank of IraqMedia Office2023/2/14
