Withdrawing the license of Al-Agheed Company to mediate the sale and purchase of foreign currencies
Based on the decision of CBI Board of Directors No. (22) Of 2023. In view of the violation of Al-Agheed Company for mediation by selling and buying foreign currencies, the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) Of 2004 and combating money laundering and terrorist financing No. (39) Of 2015 and the controls regulating the work of selling and the purchase of foreign currencies mediation companies No. (1) Of 2022.
It was decided to withdraw the license of the above-mentioned company and to confiscate the insurance deposited with CBI of (50,000,000) dinars (fifty million dinars) in favor of CBI. The Ministry of Commerce / Companies Registration Department must cancel the incorporation certificate granted to it and provide us with a letter to delete the name of the company from your records and the certified minute and liquidation letters.
