The Central Bank of Iraq Expands the Outlets for Selling Cash Dollar to Travelers

The Central Bank of Iraq has directed governmental banks (al-Rafidain, al-Rasheed and the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI)) to expand the outlets of selling cash dollars for the travelers in the country's airports (Baghdad, Basra, Najaf, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah). The bank also directed that the receiving of requests are to be on the morning and evening, in order to include a greater number of travelers.The Central Bank of Iraq also indicated that the sale of cash dollars includes travelers who cross the land borders’ points through designated sales outlets of banks, after submitting the relevant travel requirements (visa or vehicle exit’s document).
