The CBI Governor Meets the British Ambassador in Baghdad

His Excellency the CBI Governor, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef, met Tuesday, His Excellency the British Ambassador in Iraq Mark Bryson Richardson. During the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the Ambassador, stressing the strengthening of banking and economic relations between the two friendly countries. His Excellency stressed that the CBI has played a major role over the past years in revitalizing the Iraqi economy, indicating that the banking sector in Iraq is looking forward to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the banking fields and Anti-Money Laundering and terrorism financing. For his part, His Excellency the British Ambassador Mark Bryson Richardson praised the initiatives of the CBI and its role in providing renewable energy loans, which reinforces Iraq's commitment to the Climate Change Agreement.
