CBI Governor receives the Special Representative of the United Nations

His Excellency the CBI Governor , Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef, received today, Wednesday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Ms.Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert. During the meeting, they discussed the development of economic and financial conditions for the interest of Iraq. His Excellency stressed that the CBI launched development initiatives that amounted to (18) trillion dinars, which contributed to moving the wheel of the Iraqi economy and provided thousands of job opportunities and added: The bank performs its roles defined by the law and continues to provide initiatives to support government directives in providing job opportunities for young people, and achieving their goals to implement their projects. His Excellency stressed the need to advance the reality of the financial and banking sector in line with international standards.
