CBI Governor meets the Republic of Bangladesh Ambassador

His Excellency the CBI Governor, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef met His Excellency the Republic of Bangladesh Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Amdi Fadlul Bari. The ambassador conveyed the Central Bank of Bangladesh greetings to His Excellency. He discussed prospects for cooperation with the Bangladesh Republic in aspects related to the financial and banking sector. During the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador discussed the issue of the Bangladeshi workers’ financial receivables during the past period, and the request to facilitate the procedures for transferring their dues at the present time. The two sides discussed the continuation of cooperation and the development between the two countries, CBI Governor affirming his interest in cooperation between the two monetary institutions in the two countries, while directing the concerned banks to facilitate the procedures for paying those dues and transferring them to where they wish through official channels.
