The Central Bank organizes a workshop to discuss its development initiatives

 

The Central Bank of Iraq held a workshop to discuss its development initiatives (Central Bank of Iraq initiatives, reality, challenges, and ambitions) in the presence of His Excellency, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Hameed Naeem Al-Ghazi, and His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef.

His Excellency the Governor stressed the importance of reviewing the development initiatives launched by the Central Bank, whose values ​​exceeded more than (15) trillion dinars, as well as the importance of coordination with public finance in providing financial support that saved the country from a major crisis caused by the complex security and health crises that have passed. For his part, His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers stressed the importance of the Central Bank’s initiatives and the sectors they covered and thanked the Central Bank’s management and its employees and the banking sector that contributed to these initiatives. The most prominent indicators achieved by development initiatives and their positive effects, especially in the housing sector, were reviewed during the workshop. Several presentations by the Industrial and Real Estate Bank and the Housing Fund were followed by discussions from the audience. The workshop was attended by several central bank officials, government and private banks managers, and investors from the private sector.
