CBI Governor meets the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Kurdistan Regional Government

 

His Excellency, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef, met the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Ms. Questan Muhammad Abdullah. His Excellency reviewed the plans of the Central Bank and its development roles, which contributed to supporting the state's efforts in many of the issues it faced. Most notably, the launch of development initiatives brought about a shift in securing liquidity for the real sector, which faced severe challenges after the Corona pandemic.

For her part, the Minister commended the Central Bank's initiatives and contributions to relieving the pressures facing the Iraqi society and praised the Bank's support for the Small Projects Finance Fund in the region, especially training programs and support for shelters for orphans and homeless and the role of the Iraqi Private Banks League. His Excellency promised to support the Ministry's plans and programs to alleviate the suffering of our people.
