Opening of Tamkeen project to combat desertification in Diwaniyah

CBI participated in the opening of the "Tamkeen Initiative" project to combat desertification in the province of Diwaniyah.

CBI's adviser, Mr. Waleed Eadi, who attended the opening, said that the efforts of the initiative and the organizers aimed at combating desertification and sand encroachment, noting that it will be the deployment of evergreen plants and improve the environment. Also the need to create a suitable environment for agricultural work as well as protection of residential areas and agricultural production. Stressing that the initiative seeks to support projects aimed at increasing the green area and improve the entrances of the provinces and support the Ministry of Agriculture in the field of combating desertification and the mitigation of dust storms to serve the agricultural work in our beloved country.
