CBI participates in the Arab Monetary Fund workshop

Within the framework of cooperation with the Arab Monetary Fund and their strategic partners from international organizations represented by the World Bank, the Global Alliance for Financial Inclusion, and the German Agency for International Development within the Fund’s initiative to enhance financial inclusion in the Arab countries FIARI, An online workshop held entitled (Building and Implementing the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion) for day 5, 6/4-2021, with the participation of members of the Supreme Committee for Financial Inclusion and its subcommittees from the public and private sectors to several banks and payment service providers. The workshop included a presentation of international and regional experiences in launching financial inclusion strategies and effective implementation methods. Central Bank announced During the seminar his intention to establish the vision of the national process for financial inclusion in Iraq in cooperation with all actors in the private and public sector at the end of 2021. He will prepare the draft of the national strategy for financial inclusion after launching the vision and with the support of the Arab Monetary Fund, experts at the World Bank, and the German Development Agency The Global Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
