CBI participates in the sixth International Maysan Fair of Energy, Investment and Economy
The Central Bank of Iraq participated in the sixth International Maysan Fair of Energy, Investment and Economy in 2019 with a special pavilion, represented by a delegation from the banking directorate and the media office in the Bank. The participation characterized by providing information on the work of the Central Bank of Iraq and educating the public about the banking system, as well as educate them on banking technologies and services provided by the banks in addition to the project of settling salaries and financial inclusion and answering all questions of visitors and participants in the fair.
The fair was held with the support of the local government in Maysan and under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and the Minister of Oil, Mr. Thamer Alghadhban, and in the presence of government, international and local figures for the period 25-28 February 2019. With the participation of 65 companies, including 35 international companies and 30 Iraqi companies and a number of countries, like Russia, Hungary, China, India and government ministries that associated with energy and investment.
