The Banking Studies Center Concludes its Course on Electronic Payment Policies and Procedures

The Banking Studies Center (BSC), a division of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), concluded its course on electronic payment policies and procedures (implementation and compliance). Fifty-five trainees from the electronic payment, risk, and financial inclusion departments, payment systems developers, and cybersecurity officers from banks operating in Iraq participated in the course. The training program included an in-depth understanding of electronic payment policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards, as well as the acquisition of skills in implementing cybersecurity controls, managing fraud risks, and the ability to conduct internal audits of payment systems and ensure the compliance.
