CBI Governor Meets the Australian Ambassador in Iraq

His Excellency the CBI Governor, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef met today, Monday, Her Excellency the Australian Ambassador in Iraq, Ms. Paula Ganley. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries, as well as the measures taken by the CBI in Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing and developing work in the banking sector. The efforts of the Iraqi government and judiciary in recovering stolen funds were also discussed. His Excellency has confirmed that the CBI is keen to develop its relations with its counterparts in the world, pointing out that the banking sector in Iraq has achieved many successes during the past years and gained confidence internationally.
