Amendment of Financing Controls for Electricity Generation Systems from Renewable Energy
In line with the directives of this bank in supporting the government effort aimed at increasing the sobriety of imported materials used in the manufacture of solar energy systems, it is decided as follows:
1. Amending Paragraph (11) of the Regulations circular as follows:
-Technical requirements of the initiative and technical specifications issued by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) for the components of the approved system according to appendix (1) of these controls, the supplier is obligated to have all components of the system accompanied by (COC) certificates issued for each consignment by the companies contracting with the COSQC.IQ which is (Intertek,HQTS,GEO-CHEM,BureauVeritas) to issue a certificate of conformity from the country of origin for the purposes of inclusion in the initiative instead of the old text of (10/8/2022).
2. Amending the specification of solar panels in appendix no. (1) to become (solar panels monocrystalline type A) instead of (solar panels monocrystalline type class (tire 1-A).
3. Adding a system (on grid) in conjunction with a generator with a capacity of (500 kilowatts) in residential complexes only.
