CBI participates in the lighting ceremony of the University of Baghdad Tower

 

Today, Tuesday, the Central Bank of Iraq participated in the celebration held by the University of Baghdad for the occasion of lighting the tower of the prestigious University of Baghdad, which came with the support of the community initiative funded by banks and managed by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Iraqi  Private Banks League. His Excellency, the Governor of the Central Bank, was represented by the Deputy Governor at the celebration, which witnessed a high-level presence of representatives in Parliament, universities presidents, deans of colleges, and academics. During a speech at the festival, the Central Bank's Deputy Governor said that "universities are an important tributary of science and knowledge in Iraq, and that students are the nucleus of the country's future." His Excellency added that "the Central Bank is strongly supportive of the educational sector in Iraq, in the forefront of which is the University of Baghdad."
