auction of Islamic Certificates of Deposit

Based on our circular No. 34/123 dated 31/3/2026, we would like to inform you that the auction of Islamic Certificates of Deposit No. (ICD816) has been announced with a maturity of (7) days. The auction execution date will be on Tuesday, 12/5/2026, as published in the Central Securities Depository (CSD) system. Islamic banks may participate from the date of publication until the execution date.

Please note that the data adopted to determine the size of private sector deposits in Iraqi dinars at your bank is dated 23/4/2026, which was submitted during the period 26–28/4/2026 through the BSRS system.

 

We emphasize adherence to the conditions of this type of auction, which are as follows:

1. The requirement for participation in the auction is that the size of private deposits in Iraqi dinars exceeds (50) billion dinars.
2. The minimum subscription amount in the auction is (50) billion dinars, with a maximum of (500) billion dinars.
