The Central Bank receives a delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development

The Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Iraq, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hamad Khalaf received a high-ranking German delegation headed by Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Ministry Dr. (Volker Euhl), that accompanied by Chargé d'Affaires of the German Embassy in Baghdad, Ms. (Margarete Jacob).

The meeting, which included a group of general managers and specialists in the Central Bank of Iraq, discussed the most important economic, financial and monetary developments in Iraq, and the extent of the Central Bank’s response in achieving economic balance and stability, as well as the economic and technical aspects related to the cooperation with the German side, including the providing the advisory services through GIZ organization, and the projects that the organization manages in cooperation with this bank.
