The Central Bank opens an outlet for selling dollars at Baghdad International Airport

CBI announces opening a new outlet for selling dollars in cash to travelers at Baghdad International Airport through the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI). The sale will start as of tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/1/2023, for travelers with a maximum of (5000) US dollars.

It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Iraq had earlier expanded the number of bank outlets for selling foreign currency from 20 banks to include all included and willing banks, after the success achieved by its initiative to enhance the stability of the currency price in the local markets and confirms that the rise in the exchange rate is temporary.
