CBI warns of fake pages on social media platforms
An authorized source in the Central Bank of Iraq warned against the spread of pages attributed to banks or non-bank financial institutions on social media platforms claiming to facilitate granting loans to citizens in return for sums of money. Hence, the Central Bank of Iraq calls on the public not to deal with these pages. The public should deal with banks and financial institutions licensed by CBI to avoid scams from weak souls. The Central Bank has allocated the number (07809224663) or via the official e-mail (banking.awareness@cbi.iq) to communicate or submit information and complaints.Central Bank of Iraq
