CBI’s initiative to train graduates for free



The Central Bank of Iraq initiated the opening of free courses for the training of graduates of economic specialties in order to introduce them in the labor market.
 
A statement issued by the Central Bank of Iraq that the Governor of the Central Bank Mr. Ali Mohsen Ismail adopted an initiative to train unemployed graduates with a theoretical course, complemented by practical work through the coordination of the Banking Monitoring Directorate with a group of private banks to enrich the successful trainees with an applied experience that qualifies the graduate to work in the banking sector.
 
The statement add that the Central Bank's Banking Studies Center received 1734 requests to participate in these free courses as preliminary outcomes. The statement said that the Center has implemented 3 courses in 2018 and the number of graduates selected was 75 as first group out of the 600 graduates chosen by the central Bank to participate in these courses.
 
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank published on its website the conditions of participation in these courses, to give the graduates certificates of participation at the end of the courses.
